Social AID builds powerful global partnerships to voice for, protect, and empower the poorest and most marginalized communities — with integrity, accountability, and enduring impact.
Social AID is a registered charitable, not-for-profit organization engaged in humanitarian response, environmental protection, and participatory development — coordinating across 4 continents with a philosophy of "strengthening people for disaster, participatory and environmentally sensitive development."
"Build powerful global partnerships to voice for protecting and empowering poorest of the poor and marginalized communities in the world, building upon diversity, collective resources and experiences."
"A world where people are self-resilient, live dignified lives, ensure healthy and prosperous future and coexistence for all living beings in harmony, justice and peace."
Founded in 1990, Social AID acts as a catalyst, umbrella organization, consulting and advisory body, and capacity building organization. We work with multidisciplinary professionals — environmentalists, engineers, economists, health specialists, gender experts, legal professionals, and financial specialists — to deliver integrated, high-impact programs.
Every decision Social AID makes is guided by four unshakeable pillars that define who we are and how we serve communities worldwide.
We ensure and promote people's dignity, potential, and contributions of all individuals, organizations, and partners including our own staff — without exception or discrimination.
We are dedicated to building partnerships for effective, efficient, economical and environmentally friendly (4Es) initiatives to serve the poorest and most marginalized communities at large.
Our interventions are well integrated, consistent and transparent with our vision, mission, and code of conduct — with full responsibility for individual and organizational actions.
We embrace action-learning and capacity building — not just doing more, but doing things differently for enhanced, sustained, and greater long-lasting impact in the communities we serve.
